Thank you for visiting our website.
Located in the heart of Virginia’s scenic Shenandoah Valley and approximately 3 hours from Washington, D.C., we are a small, private breeding facility offering quality
imported and domestic warmblood sporthorses from
the finest European and U.S. bloodlines. We strive
to produce top-notch Hanoverian, Oldenburg and
Dutch Warmblood foals that are healthy, correct,
good-natured individuals that can be enjoyed by
amateurs and professionals alike. Great emphasis
is placed on temperament, character, movement,
trainability and rideability. |

| All our horses enjoy a nurturing
environment where they receive daily turnout in
small compatible herds to foster healthy mind,
body and spirit. Our mares have been carefully
selected for their conformation, athleticism and
distinguished bloodlines. When selecting breeding
stallions, we seek out the best match to complement
each mare either domestically or abroad. |

| We deliver all our foals ourselves
and imprint each one from birth believing that
it is important to expose them to as many new
experiences early on as possible. A great deal
of time is invested in each one’s care and
every horse at Sunny Brook Farm is handled daily.
They are up to date on all shots, wormed and seen
regularly by our farrier and veterinarian to ensure
they mature into healthy, well-rounded adults. |

| We take great pride in our breeding
program and offer only a limited number of foals
each year. Being treasured family members, it
is of the utmost importance that they be placed
in a home we feel is committed to helping them
