Walt Frazier is a highly athletic imported Dutch Warmblood gelding with dressage quality movement. Earning a premium rating as a two-year old from the NA/WPN, Frazier possesses a unique blend of Dutch, Irish and Thoroughbred blood. His outstanding performance bloodlines give him very strong potential for a career in showjumping, eventing or the hunters. His sire Ekstein was one of the leading producers of international showjumpers in the world. In 2004, Frazier’s half brother Joel competed at the Athens Olympics on behalf of the Netherlands showjumping team. In 2008, another sibling Hickstead competed in Beijing on behalf of Canada under rider Eric Lamaze bringing home jumping gold and team silver. His dam-sire Cruising was a world class international showjumper who won numerous Nations Cups and capped his career with a victory at Aachen, the greatest grand prix of all. Frazier has excellent ground manners and has only been in professional training. He shows a great deal of scope and natural talent for the fences and would be best suited for an experienced amateur or professional rider looking for a young competition prospect. Bred in Germany and imported in-utero, Ryka is a stunning mare by the outstanding Rubinstein son Regazzoni out of SPS Daconda M. She comes from a very consolidated dam-line that is closely related to Rotspon, the famous Rubinstein son who won his performance test in 1998. Her sire Regazzoni was the winner of his 100-day stallion performance test in Muenster-Handorf Germany in 1994, who thereafter became federal vice-champion German riding horse in 1995 and won the finals of the 1996 five-year old German Dressage Championship. Ryka clearly shows huge potential and in her first six months of training went from unbroken 4-year old to Dressage at Devon as well as qualifying for USDF Region 1 BLM Championship Finals. Ryka was site Champion of her AHS mare inspection and Reserve Champion of the Mare Performance Test with scores of 9 for the walk and 8s for rideablity, trot and canter securing her position as an Elite Mare Canditate.
